Executive changes in Treasury Wine Estates

Treasury Wine Estates provided a detailed introduction to some changes in its leadership team, including the new position of Angus McPherson, Managing Director in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

After Michelle Terry resigned, marketing director Angus Lily also took on a new position.

In a statement to TheShout, a TWE spokesperson stated, "Angus McPherson has been appointed as the President of Americas and Global Sales and will be based at our Americas headquarters in Auckland. In his global sales responsibilities, Angus works in all regions to ensure that we continue to drive sales strategies, execution plans, and capacity building through sales leaders in each market

The statement added: "After Michelle Terry resigned, Angus Lilley was appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer of Melbourne. Angus joined TWE in 2013 and previously held the position of Deputy Chief Marketing Officer

McPherson joined TWE in 2011 and was appointed as the Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand in 2014. He added Europe to his remit in 2018 and Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Africa to his remit in early 2019.

In its global sales responsibilities, McPherson will work in all regions to ensure that TWE "consistently drives sales strategies, execution plans, and capacity building through its sales leaders in each market".

Before joining TWE, McPherson worked at Casella Family Brands and Brown Forman.

Lilly now leads the marketing strategy and implementation of TWE's brand portfolio in various regions.
